Tech Knowledge/skill

The Standard and syllabus will be of the level of ITI/NAC in the trades concerned 100 200

(i) The question paper will be in Hindi and English language. The question paper shall consist of objective-type questions (multiple choice questions –MCQ) with 5 options to answer each question. In Part-A each question will carry one mark and in Part-B each question will carry 2 marks. For each right answer in Part-A one mark and in Part-B, two marks shall be allowed.

(ii) There shall be no negative marking.

(iii) There shall be no minimum pass marks in the examination.

(iv) The selection of candidates will be based on the merit to be prepared category-wise for each company on the basis of marks secured in the examination.

(v) There shall be no interview

(vi) In case two or more candidates secure equal marks, in the examination, their merit shall be decided as per their date of birth i.e. elder candidates shall be placed above in the merit list.

(vii) Preference shall be given to the successful candidates who have completed apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in respective Nigam as per “The Recruitment Policy for Apprentices, 2017.”

  3. Introduction to Operating System, Word Processing (MS Word), Spread Sheet Software (MS Excel), Presentation Software (MS PowerPoint), DBMS Software (MS Access).
  4. Representation of Data (Digital versus Analog, Number System — Decimal, Binary & Hexadecimal), Introduction to Data Processing, Concepts of files and its types.
  5. Introduction of Internet Technology and Protocol, LAN, MAN, WAN, Search Services/Engines, Introduction to online & offline messaging, World Wide Web Browsers, Web publishing, Creation & maintenance of Web sites, HTML Interactivity Tools, Multimedia and Graphics, Voice Mail and Video Conferencing, Introduction to e-Commerce.
  6. Security: Protecting Computer Systems from viruses & malicious attacks, Introduction to Firewalls and its utility, Backup & Restoring data.

Qualifying Typing Speed Test on Computer:

  1. A) Hindi Typing: 15 Minutes
  2. B) English Typing: 15 Minutes

Note:-

  1. Speed Test n Hindi & English languages on Computer machine shall be taken of only those candidates who have qualified the phase-I of the examination. The number of candidates to be admitted to the phase-II of the examination (Qualifying Typing Speed Test) Shall be about three times the advertised vacancies (Category-wise).
  2. No Marks shall be given in Qualifying Typing Speed Test and Merit list will be prepared only on the basis marks obtained in the phase-I of the examination, but only those candidates who qualify the typing test shall be eligible for inclusion in the Merit list.

11. Rajasthan Vidhyut Vibhag – Junior Chemist Syllabus:

Part A: 60% Weightage

Note: The Standard and Syllabus of the exam will be of the level of Post Graduation in Chemistry Engineering/Graduation Degree in Chemical Engineering.

Part – B: 40% Weightage
