AS the past years this year also the UPSC has released the notification in the public for the recruitment of the new aspirants in the NDA. The application has begun form the Jan 2017 and will be prevailing till the Jan 2017. The candidates are applying for their favorite examination and will be applying throughout the applications days. The candidate should apply for the recruitment through the official website and through our website. The application can be done through the online portal and can apply till the last date.
The NDA Examination is conducted twice a year and is the recruitment is the direct officer level recruitment. The candidates who go in to the defence services without NDA are recruited at the cadre level and the students who go through the NDA examination are direct recruited as the Officers.

The NDA examination is used to recruit the new comers in the Navy, Naval Academy, Air Force, Army. The Examination is good for the future of the students is always crucial for lakhs of students who prepare for the examination.
NDA Exam Eligibility Criteria
This Year in NDA 2017 the total seats are decided around 375 seats. The total seats are divided among the different Bodies such as
Naval Academy: 55 seats
Air Force: 70 seats
Navy: 42 seats
Army: 208 seats
Important dates to remember for UPSC NDA Exam 2017:
- The notification is released on: Jan 2017
- The application forms had begun from: Jan 2017
- The candidates can apply till: Jan 2017
- The Admit Card for the NDA-I examination will be declared: March 3rd or 4th Week
- The examination will be conducted on: April 2017
- The result for the NDA-I: Sept. 2017
- The interview after the recruitment examination will be held on: Oct or Nov. 2017
- The final Merit List for the NDA-I will be declared on: Feb 2018
Eligibility Criteria for the NDA 2017:
The candidates should check the eligibility criteria for the NDA 2017 and apply till the last date of application. The UPSC will be conducting the examination on April 2017
The candidates applying for the recruitment should be Indian from Nationality.
The age requirement for the NDA-I is the from 17 to 20 years. The age shall be calculated form the 31st Dec 2015.
The education qualification for the recruitment is
The candidates applying for the recruitment should have Chemistry, Physics and Math in his intermediate Level.
NDA 2017 Exam Pattern:
The examination of the NDA-I will be consisting two papers. The first paper will be carrying 120 questions of 300 marks in Mathematics.
The second paper of the NDA-I will be carrying 150 questions carrying 600 marks and will constitute questions from the General Ability Part.
Note that the question paper will be including negative marking for every wrong response.
After the NDA examination the process. The interview will be conducted for the shortlisted candidates. AND after the interview the merit list for the final selection of the candidates.
NDA Syllabus 2017:
The first paper which will be including questions from the Math Section. Math Syllabus will be
- Matrices and Determinants
- Analytical Geography
- Differential Calculus
- Integral Calculus
- Vector Algebra
The second paper for the recruitment will include the General Ability Test including 150 questions from
Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension, Proficiency in English
- General Knowledge:
This part will include all the questions form the Chemistry, Physics, Social Studies, and Current Events.
Questions will be coming from the general science from 8 to 12th.
Questions from history and Geography will also be arising in the paper.
The paper will also include questions from the current Events part. The questions can be from the Indian News or form the world view.
NDA Admit Card:
The admit card of the NDA-I will be available in the last week of the March. The students who will be applying for the applications can download the admit card form the official website of the UPSC. The admit card can be downloaded from the application ID and date of birth.
Process of Selection:
The total seats are 375 and the seats can be filled by the candidates. The selection of candidates will be depending on the examination conducted in two parts and the following interview. The interview will be taken by SSB.
The candidates will lastly judge over the physical fitness by the command Hospital.
The interview will be conducted in two stages as
Stage 1: First of all the OIR will be conducted as Officer Intelligence Rating Test, then the other tests such as

3 Description Test
The candidates will be selected again after these three stages and then the second stage will began.
Stage 2: this stage will include Interview, Group Discussions, Group Tasks, Psychology Test and Conference.
And then the final merit will be prepared. The final merit will be declared in the Feb 2017.
